Cancellation & refund policy.

Clear terms for downloads, eight-week coaching, ongoing one-on-one coaching, prepaid renewals, and medical interruptions.

Seven-day coaching cancellation period

You may cancel an online coaching contract within seven calendar days after purchase or signing and receive a full refund. This applies to Catalyst Launch, the initial Performance Catalyst 1:1 term, and a prepaid coaching renewal. Rights provided by applicable law are not limited by this policy.

Self-guided downloadable programs

Self-guided programs are one-time purchases and do not renew. You may request a full refund before downloading the files. After download, the purchase is final except for a duplicate charge, an incorrect product, a corrupt or materially incomplete file that Performance Catalyst cannot replace within three business days, or when applicable law requires otherwise. File and broken-link support does not include individualized coaching.

Catalyst Launch

Catalyst Launch is a $349 one-time purchase, is limited to one introductory block per client, and does not renew. Its eight coached weeks begin when your initial personalized program is delivered. Continued personalized programming requires separate acceptance and enrollment in Performance Catalyst 1:1. After the seven-day cancellation period, payments are not refunded for a change of mind, missed training, unused check-ins, travel, equipment changes, or non-completion. The medical and Performance Catalyst cancellation provisions below still apply.

Performance Catalyst 1:1

Performance Catalyst 1:1 costs $399 per month and begins with a three-month initial commitment, for a minimum initial payment obligation of $1,197. A convenience cancellation during the initial term stops renewal after the third month; remaining initial-term payments are still due unless the medical provisions below or applicable law provide otherwise. After the initial term, coaching continues month-to-month. Cancel before your next billing charge to prevent that charge. Service continues through the paid period, and convenience cancellations are not prorated.

Six- and twelve-month prepaid renewals

The optional six-month renewal is $2,250 and the optional twelve-month renewal is $4,320. Neither renews automatically. After the seven-day cancellation period, a convenience-cancellation refund equals the prepaid amount minus $399 for each started renewal month. The month in which cancellation is received counts as started. A refund will not be less than zero, and no additional balance is due solely because this calculation reaches zero.

Medical pause, disability, or death

If a new medical condition temporarily prevents meaningful participation, you may request a coaching pause. Performance Catalyst 1:1 may be paused for up to 90 total days in a twelve-month period, normally in 30-day increments; Catalyst Launch may be paused for up to 30 days. Billing and active coaching stop during an approved 1:1 pause, and the service term moves by the paused time.

If a disability or medical condition prevents you from receiving the remaining service, you may cancel effective when that inability began. You will be responsible only for the service allocable before that date, and any unused prepaid amount will be refunded as required by law. The same unused-service rule applies to a deceased client’s estate. Performance Catalyst may request reasonable confirmation from an appropriate licensed healthcare professional, but does not require a diagnosis or complete medical record.

Relocation rights

Performance Catalyst preserves any relocation-cancellation right supplied by applicable law. Where the Illinois Physical Fitness Services Act applies to a service dependent on a covered facility, this includes the statutory right associated with moving more than 25 miles from the facility when no comparable covered facility accepts the original obligations. Online coaching that remains fully available after a move is not treated as interrupted solely because the client changes residence.

Cancellation by Performance Catalyst

If Performance Catalyst ends a paid service without cause and cannot provide a reasonable substitute, the undelivered portion will be refunded. This does not apply to termination for nonpayment, harassment, unsafe conduct, misuse of materials, or a material violation of the coaching agreement, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Cancel or request a pause online

Email justin@performancecatalystllc.com from the address used for purchase. No telephone call, explanation, or additional information is required, and cancellation is effective when the email is received rather than when Performance Catalyst replies. If you use another email address, Performance Catalyst may request only enough information to identify the account. Performance Catalyst will confirm the effective date, final service date, any remaining payment, any refund calculation, and the TrueCoach access end date in writing.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Refunds required by law will be submitted within 30 days after Performance Catalyst receives the cancellation request and any reasonable supporting documentation. Your bank or card network may require additional time to post the credit.
